Lukimbi Drops Family Fee for Private Landrovers
From the start of 2012, Lukimbi Safari Lodge, the 5-star boutique game lodge in the Kruger National Park, is encouraging all families to come on an unforgettable safari.
With immediate effect, Lukimbi will no longer be charging a private vehicle fee for families with children under 8 years of age. In the past, Lukimbi charged all families with children under this age a private vehicle fee which was an additional R3000 per day. This is now history!
This offer does not apply to the following 2012 Peak Season dates in South Africa being:
- April 5 to 10
- April 27 to May 2
- August 1 to 20
- September 21 to 24
- October 1 to 10
- December 20 to January 5
This offer is applicable to Standard Rack and STO rates only. It is not applicable to discounted or contracted rates.
This superb offer will be subject to the availability of vehicles which can be advised at time of reservation. Lukimbi reserves the right to put two young families together, when both families have children under 8 years of age.
If a family wants to guarantee the use of a private vehicle, then it would need to be booked and paid for in advance. This cost is R3000 Nett per day.
3 Nights Full Day Walking Safari

Lukimbi is now offering Full Day Walking Trails during our cooler winter months.
If you love to walk but not too keen on roughing it, our walks provide the best combination of exercise, fresh air, fabulous game viewing, all done in complete comfort with rangers who clearly love the whole experience.
Anybody who is reasonably fit and healthy, and is looking for something adventurous will certainly enjoy "bushwacking" on foot. The Wagon Trail or Lwakahle Trail departs at approx 07h00 and guests will return back to camp around 17h00.
Lukimbi is offering a complimentary Full Day Bushwalk for all 3 night stay bookings, and subject to a group size of minimum 6 and maximum 8 guests.
Walks must be booked in advance and are subject to availability. Valid only for guests 16+ years who are in good health. For all bookings for less than 6 guests, contact our reservations office for more details.

The rates include luxury accommodation in en-suite, air-conditioned suites, 3 full meals per day, all teas & coffees, four game drives and one full day walking safari. Excludes transfers, R48 per person Kruger Park entrance fees, bar bill, soft drinks, curios, items of a personal nature and gratuities.
Transfer rates between Nelspruit/Kruger Mpumalanga Airport and Lukimbi are available on request. The drive takes approx 90 minutes by road and is done in an air-conditioned vehicle.

Transfer rates between Kruger Mpumalanga Airport and Lukimbi, and Lukimbi and Leopard Creek are available on request.
Terms & Conditions:
Golf can only be played on week days. (i.e.No weekends, public holidays, peak school holiday times and tournaments) and is subject to availability.
The green fee is for 18-holes at Leopard Creek and is quoted NETT and is non-commissionable. Includes a cart, sandwiches/muffins/scones with tea or coffee half way.
Golf can only be booked for confirmed reservations i.e. no provisional bookings, and will only be booked once deposits are paid.
100% cancellation fees are applicable once a golf booking is confirmed.
On the day of golf, one game drive is forfeited due to time constraints.
Golf is subject to Leopard Creek terms and conditions.

The rates include luxury accommodation in en-suite, air-conditioned chalets, 3 full meals daily, all teas and coffees, afternoon tea, 2 game drives daily in open landrovers and a safari walk. Game activities are with skilled and well-trained rangers.
The rate excludes transfers, R48 per person Kruger Park entrance fees, Ulusaba runway fees, bar bill, soft drinks, telephone and fax calls, curios, gratuities, items of a personal nature and R120.00 per vehicle plus R30 per person entrance into the Sabi Sand Reserve (for self drive guests only). From 1 January 2012, this increases to R150 per vehicle and R30 per person.
Transfer rates between Kruger Mpumalanga Airport and Idube, Idube to Lukimbi and from Lukimbi to Kruger Mpumalanga are available on request.

DEPOSIT AND PREPAYMENT:
20% of the full amount due on the reservation is required as a deposit on confirmation of booking.
The balance of the invoice is payable 4 weeks prior to arrival.
Credit cards, electronic transfers and direct deposits are accepted.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellations must be in writing.
If cancelled 6 – 4 weeks prior to date of arrival, 20% per deposit received is due.
If cancelled less than 4 weeks prior to date of arrival or no show, 100% of the full amount is due.
